Description

Enjoy a refreshing twist on a classic drink with this Watermelon Margarita Granita! This icy dessert blends the sweetness of watermelon with the tang of lime and a hint of tequila, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

– 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon

– 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

– 1/4 cup tequila (optional)

– 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)

– Lime slices and mint for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. In a blender, combine watermelon, lime juice, tequila, and simple syrup.

2. 2. Blend until smooth.

3. 3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.

4. 4. Every 30 minutes, scrape the mixture with a fork to create a fluffy texture.

5. 5. Once fully frozen and fluffy, scoop into glasses.

6. 6. Garnish with lime slices and mint before serving.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the tequila. Store leftovers in the freezer for up to a week.
