Description

This Sesame Broccoli Slaw is a delightful combination of crunchy vegetables and a flavorful sesame dressing. Perfect as a side dish or a light meal, it’s both nutritious and satisfying!


Ingredients

– 4 cups broccoli florets

– 1 cup shredded carrots

– 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

– 1/4 cup sesame oil

– 2 tbsp rice vinegar

– 1 tbsp soy sauce

– 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

– 2 tbsp sesame seeds

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, shredded carrots, and green onions.

2. 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey until well mixed.

3. 3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to combine.

4. 4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. 5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

This slaw can be made a day ahead for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
