Description

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup brown sugar, packed

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tsp baking soda

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1 cup toffee bits

– 1 cup caramel bits

– Sea salt for sprinkling


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

3. 3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

4. 4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

5. 5. Fold in the toffee bits and caramel bits.

6. 6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.

7. 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

8. 8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.

9. 9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For a twist, add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor!
