Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 4-6 tbsp cold water
– Red and blue food coloring
– Vanilla ice cream
– Sprinkles (red, white, and blue)
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. 2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
3. 3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. 4. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
5. 5. Divide dough into two balls, color one red and one blue.
6. 6. Roll out each dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.
7. 7. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream between two dough pieces, sealing the edges.
8. 8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
