Description

Indulge in this Frozen Pavlova with Berries, a light and airy dessert that combines crisp meringue with luscious whipped cream and a medley of fresh berries. Perfect for warm days and special celebrations!

Ingredients

– 4 large egg whites

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 teaspoon cornstarch

– 1 tablespoon white vinegar

– 1 cup heavy whipping cream

– 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

– 2 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 2. In a clean bowl, whisk egg whites until soft peaks form.

3. 3. Gradually add granulated sugar, whisking until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.

4. 4. Gently fold in vanilla extract, cornstarch, and vinegar until combined.

5. 5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a round disc with a slight well in the center.

6. 6. Bake for 1 ½ hours, then turn off the oven and let it cool completely in the oven with the door ajar.

7. 7. Once cooled, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

8. 8. Top the meringue with whipped cream and scatter fresh berries on top.

9. 9. Freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature eggs for whipping. You can customize the berry topping according to seasonal availability. Store leftovers in the freezer for up to a week.
