Description

This Cedar Plank Salmon recipe combines the rich, smoky flavors of cedar with tender, flaky salmon, making it a perfect dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)

– 4 salmon fillets

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.

2. 2. Remove the cedar plank from the water and pat dry.

3. 3. Place the salmon fillets on the plank, skin-side down.

4. 4. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the salmon.

5. 5. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the fillets.

6. 6. Place the cedar plank on the grill and close the lid.

7. 7. Grill for about 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

8. 8. Remove from grill, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, soak the cedar plank overnight. You can also experiment with different herbs or add a dash of honey for sweetness. Leftover salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
