Description

Enjoy the rich, smoky flavor of Carolina-Style BBQ Chicken, marinated in a tangy sauce that captures the essence of Southern cooking. Perfect for barbecues and family dinners!

Ingredients

– 4 bone-in chicken thighs

– 1 cup apple cider vinegar

– 1/2 cup ketchup

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. In a bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. 2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

3. 3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

4. 4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill.

5. 5. Grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

6. 6. Brush with additional marinade during the last few minutes of cooking for extra flavor.

7. 7. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

8. 8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the marinade. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
