Description

Juicy chicken breasts baked with fresh mozzarella, tangy tomatoes, and fragrant basil, all wrapped up in a convenient foil packet for a quick and delicious dinner.


Ingredients

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced

– 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

– 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. – Lay out four 12-inch squares of heavy-duty foil.

3. – Place one chicken breast in the center of each foil square.

4. – Top each chicken breast with slices of mozzarella, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped basil.

5. – Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.

6. – Fold the foil over the chicken and crimp the edges to create a sealed packet.

7. – Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

8. – Carefully open the foil packets and serve the Caprese Chicken Foil Packs hot.
