Description

Voodoo Egg Rolls are a spellbinding fusion of savory and spicy flavors, perfect for any occasion. Crispy on the outside and bursting with an irresistible filling, these egg rolls are sure to enchant your taste buds.

Ingredients

– 8 ounces ground pork

– 2 cups shredded cabbage

– 1 carrot, grated

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon grated ginger

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 teaspoon Sriracha or hot sauce

– 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

– 20 egg roll wrappers

– Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, carrot, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, Sriracha, and white pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

2. 2. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto the lower third of the wrapper.

3. 3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and tightly roll up the wrapper.

4. 4. In a large, deep pan or Dutch oven, heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F.

5. 5. Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

6. 6. Transfer the fried egg rolls to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

7. 7. Serve the Voodoo Egg Rolls hot, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the amount of Sriracha or hot sauce. You can also experiment with different fillings, such as shredded chicken or vegetables.
