Ingredients
– 2 slices of bread
– 2-3 slices of ripe tomato
– 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
– 2-3 fresh basil leaves
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. – Toast the bread slices until lightly golden brown.
2. – Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toast.
3. – Layer the tomato slices on one slice of toast.
4. – Top the tomatoes with the fresh basil leaves.
5. – Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. – Place the other slice of toast on top, mayonnaise side down, to create a sandwich.
7. – Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
