Description

This Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipe is a classic, family-style side dish that’s bursting with savory flavors and a comforting, crisp texture. With a quick 5-minute prep time, it’s the perfect easy addition to your holiday feast.

Ingredients

– 1 loaf of day-old bread, cubed

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 celery stalks, diced

– 3 cloves of garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped

– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

3. – In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, bread cubes, thyme, sage, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss to evenly distribute the ingredients.

4. – Slowly pour the broth over the mixture, stirring gently to incorporate.

5. – Transfer the stuffing to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

6. – Serve hot as a delicious side dish for your Thanksgiving feast.

Notes

For a moister stuffing, add an extra 1/2 cup of broth. For a drier, crunchier texture, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
