Description

Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

– 4 tbsp unsalted butter

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1 tsp paprika

– 1/2 tsp dried thyme

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. 1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of the butter.

2. 2. Add the cubed chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned on all sides.

3. 3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. 4. Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet.

5. 5. Whisk in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.

6. 6. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

7. 7. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.

8. 8. Serve the Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

For an extra creamy sauce, you can add a splash of white wine or chicken broth. The sauce can also be thinned with additional cream or milk if desired. Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
