Ingredients
– 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
– 3 cups cubed sweet potatoes
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
3. 3. Add the sweet potatoes, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables start to soften.
