Ingredients
– 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp dried parsley
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. – Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. – In a large skillet over high heat, sear the steak cubes in 2 tablespoons of butter until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes. Remove steak from pan and set aside.
3. – Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the same pan and sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. – Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until opaque.
5. – Return the seared steak cubes to the pan and toss everything together with the garlic butter sauce.
6. – Sprinkle with dried parsley and red pepper flakes (if using).
7. – Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality steak and fresh, large shrimp. The garlic butter sauce can be adjusted to taste – add more butter for a richer sauce or more garlic for a stronger flavor.
