Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of our Stuffed Leeks with Meat recipe, a quick and easy 30-minute meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights. The tender leeks are filled with a savory meat mixture, creating a satisfying and flavorful dish.

Ingredients

– 6 large leeks, halved lengthwise and cleaned

– 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

– 1 onion, finely chopped

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and black pepper, to taste

– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

3. 3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

4. 4. Season the meat mixture with thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

5. 5. Arrange the leek halves in a baking dish and spoon the meat mixture into the center of each leek half.

6. 6. Top the stuffed leeks with the grated Parmesan cheese.

7. 7. Bake the stuffed leeks for 20-25 minutes, or until the leeks are tender and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.

8. 8. Serve the Stuffed Leeks with Meat warm, garnished with fresh parsley or other herbs, if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute the ground meat with cooked quinoa or lentils. You can also experiment with different cheese toppings, such as mozzarella or cheddar.
