Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet strawberries and warm cinnamon with our restaurant-quality Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls. Irresistibly fluffy and filled with fresh fruit flavor, these homemade rolls are a delightful breakfast or snack treat.

Ingredients

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

– 1 cup milk

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 large egg

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. – In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, salt, and yeast.

2. – In a separate microwave-safe bowl, heat the milk and melted butter until warm, about 1 minute. Stir to combine.

3. – Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients and add the egg. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

4. – Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

5. – Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

6. – Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about 12×18 inches.

7. – In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough, then top with the sliced strawberries.

8. – Roll the dough tightly from the long side, creating a long log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

9. – Place the rolls in a greased 9×13 baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

10. – Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

11. – Serve the Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls warm, with your favorite toppings or beverages.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a cream cheese frosting or a simple glaze to the warm rolls. Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
