Description

These sparkling Stained Glass Jello Stars are a quick, colorful, and fun dessert that’s perfect for parties, potlucks, and anytime you want a sweet and playful treat. The jewel-toned gelatin stars have a mesmerizing, stained glass-like appearance that will make your tastebuds and eyes light up.

Ingredients

– 3 (3-ounce) packages different flavored gelatin (such as strawberry, lemon, and lime)

– 2 1/4 cups boiling water

– 1 1/2 cups cold water

Instructions

1. 1. In a medium bowl, combine 1 package of gelatin with 3/4 cup boiling water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

2. 2. Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir to combine.

3. 3. Pour the gelatin mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until set.

4. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 with the remaining two flavors of gelatin.

5. 5. Once all three layers are set, use cookie cutters or a knife to cut the gelatin into star shapes.

6. 6. Carefully remove the stars from the baking dish and arrange on a serving platter.

7. 7. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For the best texture and appearance, be sure to allow each layer of gelatin to fully set before adding the next. You can also experiment with different cookie cutter shapes or cutting the gelatin freehand for a unique look. Store any leftover Stained Glass Jello Stars in the refrigerator.
