Description

Indulge in these flaky, buttery Spinach and Feta Puff Pastry Twists – a quick and delicious snack or appetizer that’s ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

– 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

3. – Add the chopped spinach and sauté for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

4. – Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out slightly to a 12×12-inch square.

5. – Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

6. – Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the spinach.

7. – Starting from one side, tightly roll up the puff pastry into a log.

8. – Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them, cut-side up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

9. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.

10. – Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality puff pastry and fresh spinach. Feel free to experiment with different cheese varieties or add other fillings like sun-dried tomatoes or olives.
