Description

Indulge in the bold, spicy flavors of these Gochujang Eggs! This quick and easy Korean-inspired breakfast dish features perfectly cooked eggs smothered in a delectable gochujang sauce. Topped with fresh green onions and sesame seeds, it’s a satisfying and flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients

– 4 large eggs

– 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 teaspoon rice vinegar

– 1 green onion, sliced

– 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1. – Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk lightly.

2. – In a small bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Whisk to mix well.

3. – Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and let cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are scrambled and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

4. – Remove the eggs from the heat and pour the gochujang sauce over the top, gently folding to coat the eggs.

5. – Garnish the Spicy Gochujang Eggs with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

6. – Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

– For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the gochujang sauce.

– Try serving the Spicy Gochujang Eggs over a bed of steamed rice for a heartier meal.

– Store any leftover Spicy Gochujang Eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
