Description

Elevate your sourdough discard with this irresistible Sourdough Discard Pull-Apart Garlic Bread. Soft, fluffy, and infused with the savory flavors of garlic and herbs, this homemade treat is perfect for snacking, sharing, or serving as a side dish.

Ingredients

– 1 cup sourdough discard

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

2. – In a medium bowl, combine the sourdough discard, melted butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. – Tear or cut the dough into 1-inch pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish, arranging them in a single layer.

4. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy on the edges.

5. – Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

– For a more intense garlic flavor, feel free to add an extra clove or two of minced garlic.

– You can use any fresh herbs you have on hand, such as thyme or rosemary, in place of or in addition to the parsley.

– This bread can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
