Ingredients
– 1 cup sourdough discard
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
2. – In a medium bowl, combine the sourdough discard, melted butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
3. – Tear or cut the dough into 1-inch pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish, arranging them in a single layer.
4. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy on the edges.
5. – Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
– For a more intense garlic flavor, feel free to add an extra clove or two of minced garlic.
– You can use any fresh herbs you have on hand, such as thyme or rosemary, in place of or in addition to the parsley.
