Description

Ingredients

– 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

– 2 tablespoons smoked paprika

– 1 tablespoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/4 cup olive oil


Instructions

1. – Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

2. – In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. – Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and rub the seasoning mixture all over the skin and underside of the thighs.

4. – Drizzle the olive oil over the seasoned chicken thighs, making sure to coat them evenly.

5. – Place the chicken thighs in the preheated smoker and smoke for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

6. – Remove the smoked chicken thighs from the smoker and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

– For extra flavor, try using a blend of wood chips, such as apple and hickory.

– Adjust the cooking time based on the size of your chicken thighs and your specific smoker.

– Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
