Description

Indulge in the ultimate Shrimp Scampi with this easy, 10-minute recipe that’s packed with garlic, butter, and citrus flavors. Tender shrimp are sautéed in a rich, luscious sauce for a restaurant-quality dish you can make at home.

Ingredients

– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 4 tbsp unsalted butter

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/4 cup dry white wine

– 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

– 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

2. – Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

3. – Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they begin to turn pink and curl.

4. – Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened.

5. – Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. – Serve immediately, spooning the shrimp and sauce over pasta, rice, or crusty bread.

Notes

– For a creamier sauce, stir in 2-3 tbsp of heavy cream at the end.

– Garnish with additional lemon wedges and parsley, if desired.

– Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
