Ingredients
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup dry white wine
– 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
– 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
2. – Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
3. – Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they begin to turn pink and curl.
4. – Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened.
5. – Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. – Serve immediately, spooning the shrimp and sauce over pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
Notes
– For a creamier sauce, stir in 2-3 tbsp of heavy cream at the end.
