Ingredients
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup light brown sugar
– 1/4 cup caramel sauce
– Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. 2. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.

4. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

7. 7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

9. 9. Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately use the back of a spoon to create a shallow well in the center of each cookie.
