Description

Indulge in the rich, fudgy goodness of this Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake. With layers of moist chocolate cake and gooey pockets of melted peanut butter cups, this decadent dessert is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

– 1 box chocolate cake mix

– 1 cup vegetable oil

– 3 eggs

– 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

– 1 (11 oz) bag Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.

3. 3. Spread half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.

4. 4. Dollop the peanut butter over the batter and sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on top.

5. 5. Carefully spread the remaining cake batter over the top.

6. 6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. 7. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle the top of the cake with melted chocolate or caramel sauce. You can also use different flavors of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, such as the mini or holiday-themed varieties.
