Description

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1 1/2 cups buttermilk

– 2 large eggs

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 tablespoons red food coloring


Instructions

1. – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.

3. – Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined (do not overmix).
