Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of homemade pork and chive potstickers with a crispy skirt. These savory bites are quick and easy to prepare, making them the perfect appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground pork

– 1/2 cup finely chopped chives

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tbsp grated ginger

– 2 tbsp soy sauce

– 1 tsp sesame oil

– 1/4 tsp white pepper

– 1 package wonton wrappers

– 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

1. – In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chives, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper until well combined.

2. – Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface, and spoon about 1 tbsp of the pork mixture into the center.

3. – Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half and press the edges to seal, creating a half-moon shape.

4. – Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

5. – Working in batches, add the potstickers to the hot oil and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bottoms are golden and crispy.

6. – Serve the potstickers hot, with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

– For a crispier skirt, let the potstickers cook for an extra minute or two per side.

– Experiment with different fillings, such as chicken or shrimp, to create your own unique potsticker variations.

– Leftover potstickers can be frozen for up to 3 months and reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
