Ingredients

– 1 package frozen pierogi

– 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

– 1 tbsp butter

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. – Place the frozen pierogi in the bottom of a Crock Pot.

2. – Add the sliced kielbasa, diced onion, and minced garlic on top of the pierogi.

3. – Pour the broth over the ingredients and dot the top with butter.

4. – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pierogi are tender and the kielbasa is cooked through.

5. – Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. – Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or a dollop of sour cream, if desired.

Notes

– For a creamier texture, you can add a splash of heavy cream or sour cream to the Crock Pot towards the end of cooking.
