Ingredients

– 1 cup creamy peanut butter

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 large egg

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a medium bowl, mix together the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and baking soda until well combined.

3. – Fold in the chocolate chips.

4. – Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

5. – Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

6. – Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a chunkier texture, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy. You can also add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the cookies for a delicious sweet and salty contrast.
