Crispy, cheesy Parmesan Potato Stacks are a delightful appetizer or side dish that are easy to make and sure to impress. These bite-sized potato bites are baked to perfection with a golden-brown, crispy exterior and a melted parmesan cheese topping.
Ingredients
– 6-8 medium-sized potatoes, thinly sliced
– 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
3. – In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly.
4. – Arrange the potato slices vertically in the prepared muffin cups, packing them tightly together.
5. – Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top of each potato stack.
6. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the tops are crispy and golden brown.
7. – Remove the Parmesan Potato Stacks from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before carefully removing them from the muffin tin.
8. – Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy potatoes, try using Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as cheddar or gruyère, or add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme.
