Description

Crispy, flavorful oven fried potatoes and onions are a simple and delicious side dish that’s easy to make at home. Tossed in oil and spices, then baked to perfection, these oven fried potatoes and onions are a healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried versions.

Ingredients

– 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch thick wedges

– 1 large onion, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds

– 3 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges and onion slices with the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

3. – Spread the seasoned potatoes and onions in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

4. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.

5. – Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy potatoes, try parboiling the potato wedges for 5 minutes before tossing with the seasonings and baking. You can also experiment with different spice blends to customize the flavor. These oven fried potatoes and onions are best served immediately, but any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
