Description

Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers are a delicious and healthy twist on traditional burgers. These tender and flavorful patties are made with shredded cabbage, breadcrumbs, and spices, then baked to perfection in the oven for a quick and easy dinner.

Ingredients

– 2 cups shredded green cabbage

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, beaten egg, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. – Scoop out the cabbage mixture and form it into patties, about 4 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.

4. – Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

5. – Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping the burgers halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

6. – Serve the Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers immediately, garnished with your favorite toppings or sauces.

Notes

For a crispier texture, you can lightly spray the patties with cooking oil before baking. To make these burgers vegetarian, omit the Parmesan cheese or use a vegan alternative. You can also customize the spices to your liking, adding herbs or other seasonings.
