Ingredients
– 2 cups rolled oats
– 1/4 cup chia seeds
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2. – In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir to mix well.
3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, honey, and melted butter.
4. – Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
5. – Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
6. – Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. – Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
