Ingredients
– 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into 1-inch pieces
– 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
– 2 tbsp brown sugar
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
3. – Place the sliced kielbasa pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
4. – Spoon the mustard-brown sugar mixture over the kielbasa pieces, making sure to evenly coat each one.
5. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the kielbasa is crispy and the glaze is caramelized.
6. – Serve the Mustard Hasselback Kielbasa Bites warm, with your favorite dipping sauces on the side.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can brush the kielbasa pieces with a little extra Dijon mustard or honey before serving. The bites can also be made in advance and reheated in the oven before serving.
