Description

Discover the secret to making a delicious Moroccan Chicken Rice dish in just 20 minutes! Bursting with bold flavors, this quick and easy meal is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1 cup long-grain white rice

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tsp ground cumin

– 1 tsp paprika

– 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

– 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

2. – Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned on all sides.

3. – Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.

4. – Stir in the rice, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

5. – Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

6. – Remove from heat and fluff the rice with a fork. Stir in the chopped cilantro.

7. – Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.

Notes

– For extra flavor, use a combination of chicken broth and water.

– Adjust the spices to your personal taste preferences.

– Serve with a side of roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
