Description

Elevate your Mexican fiesta with this mouthwatering, 5-minute homemade Mexican Salsa Recipe. Bursting with authentic flavors and a perfect blend of spices, this easy dip is perfect for parties, snacking, or topping your favorite Mexican dishes.

Ingredients

– 4 ripe tomatoes, diced

– 1 onion, finely chopped

– 2 jalapeños, seeded and minced

– 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

– 2 limes, juiced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.

2. – Squeeze the juice of 2 limes over the vegetables.

3. – Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, and salt. Stir to combine.

4. – Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

5. – Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos, burrito bowls, and more.

Notes

For a milder salsa, use only 1 jalapeño or omit them entirely. For a spicier salsa, leave the seeds in the jalapeños. This salsa can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
