Description

Enjoy these perfectly crispy and flavorful Mediterranean Spinach and Feta Cheese Crisps in just 30 minutes! The ultimate quick and easy appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

– 8 sheets phyllo dough

– 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

– 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. 2. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean work surface and brush lightly with olive oil. Top with another sheet of phyllo and brush with oil.

3. 3. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the chopped spinach and 1/4 cup of the crumbled feta cheese over the phyllo sheets.

4. 4. Fold the phyllo dough in half to create a rectangle. Cut the rectangle into 4 equal squares.

5. 5. Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. 6. Repeat steps 2-5 with the remaining phyllo dough, spinach, and feta.

7. 7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crisps are golden brown.

8. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

– For a crispier texture, brush the top of the crisps with a bit of additional olive oil before baking.

– Experiment with different cheese varieties, such as Parmesan or goat cheese, for a twist on the classic flavor.

– Store any leftover crisps in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
