Description

Marry Me Melting Cabbage is an irresistibly tender and flavorful cabbage dish that’s easy to make in just 20 minutes. The cabbage is sautéed in butter until it’s perfectly caramelized, then seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper for a comforting and delicious side dish.

Ingredients

– 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – In a large skillet or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium-high heat.

2. – Add the shredded cabbage and sauté, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and starting to brown, about 15-20 minutes.

3. – Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes more, until the garlic is fragrant.

4. – Serve the Marry Me Melting Cabbage hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This recipe can be easily scaled up or down to serve a crowd. For a little extra richness, try adding a splash of heavy cream or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese at the end. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
