Description

These Maple Bacon Carrots are a divine and easy side dish that perfectly balances sweet and savory flavors. Tender, caramelized carrots coated in a sticky maple glaze and topped with crispy bacon – it’s a flavor explosion in every bite!

Ingredients

– 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 2 tbsp maple syrup

– 1 tbsp olive oil

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

2. 2. In a large bowl, toss the carrot pieces with maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.

3. 3. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.

4. 4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until the carrots are tender and caramelized.

5. 5. Remove from oven and sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces over the top.

6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy carrots, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end. You can also substitute honey for the maple syrup. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
