Description

These Longhorn Steakhouse-inspired Brussels sprouts are tender, caramelized, and bursting with savory-sweet flavor. Roasted to perfection with garlic, lemon, and just the right amount of butter, they make the perfect easy side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

– 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp unsalted butter

– 1 tbsp lemon juice

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. – Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.

4. – Roast for 18-20 minutes, stirring halfway, until sprouts are tender and caramelized.

5. – In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

6. – Remove the roasted Brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle the garlic-butter mixture over the top and toss to coat.

7. – Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sprouts and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan cheese. You can also roast the Brussels sprouts a day in advance and reheat them before serving.
