Description

Indulge in the delicate floral notes and creamy texture of this Lavender Honey Panna Cotta – a simple yet elegant dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 2 cups heavy cream

– 1/2 cup whole milk

– 1/3 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, honey, lavender, and salt. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a gentle simmer.

2. – Remove from heat and let the lavender steep for 15 minutes.

3. – Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.

4. – Discard the lavender and return the infused cream to the saucepan.

5. – Whisk in the vanilla extract.

6. – Divide the panna cotta mixture evenly among 6 ramekins or small serving dishes.

7. – Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 3 days.

8. – Serve chilled, garnished with a sprinkle of additional lavender, if desired.

Notes

– For a stronger lavender flavor, let the mixture steep for up to 30 minutes.

– Experiment with different types of honey for unique flavor variations.

– Top with fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, or crushed cookies for an extra special touch.
