Description

Sink your teeth into these irresistible Korean Swicy Gochujang Wings – the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and fiery flavors in every bite. Crispy, juicy wings coated in a sticky, spicy-sweet glaze made with gochujang, soy sauce, and honey.

Ingredients

– 2 lbs chicken wings

– 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)

– 2 tbsp soy sauce

– 2 tbsp honey

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

– 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

– 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a large mixing bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create the glaze.

3. – Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to fully coat them in the glaze.

4. – Arrange the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. – Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway, until they are crispy and cooked through.

6. – Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.

7. – Sprinkle the sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the top as a garnish.

8. – Serve the Korean Swicy Gochujang Wings immediately, while hot and fresh.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for 2-3 minutes after baking. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your desired level of spiciness. These wings can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
