Description

Indulge in the flavors of the Florida Keys with this Mouthwatering Key West Grilled Chicken, marinated in a zesty tropical citrus blend for maximum juiciness and flavor.

Ingredients

– 1.5 lbs chicken thighs or breasts

– 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

– 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp ground cumin

– 1 tsp chili powder

– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

– 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

1. 1. In a large resealable bag or shallow baking dish, combine the orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and turn to coat evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

2. 2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

3. 3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.

4. 4. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

5. 5. Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving plate and garnish with the chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can baste the chicken with any remaining marinade during the last few minutes of grilling. Adjust cooking time as needed for different cuts of chicken.
