Description

Discover the captivating Kashmiri Pink Chai (Noon Tea), a traditional beverage that’s easy to make and bursting with fragrant, comforting flavors. This vibrant pink tea is infused with aromatic spices and delicate rose petals, creating a soothing and aromatic ritual.

Ingredients

– 4 cups water

– 4 black tea bags

– 1 teaspoon crushed cardamom pods

– 1 teaspoon dried rose petals

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

– 1/4 cup milk (optional)

Instructions

1. 1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.

2. 2. Add the black tea bags, crushed cardamom pods, dried rose petals, and ground cinnamon. Reduce the heat and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes.

3. 3. Remove the tea bags and strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the spices and rose petals.

4. 4. Stir in the honey, if using, until dissolved.

5. 5. If desired, add a splash of milk to each cup and stir gently to combine.

6. 6. Serve the Kashmiri Pink Chai (Noon Tea) hot, garnished with additional rose petals or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

For a stronger spice flavor, let the tea steep for an extra minute or two. The tea can be served hot or chilled, depending on your preference. The color may vary slightly depending on the quality of the tea and spices used.
