Description

Delightfully crispy and cheesy, these jalapeno poppers are the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack. Stuffed with a creamy, savory filling and breaded to perfection, they’re ready in just 5 minutes for a quick and easy treat.

Ingredients

– 12 fresh jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. – Stuff the jalapeño halves evenly with the cheese mixture.

4. – Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. – Sprinkle the top of the jalapeños with the panko breadcrumbs.

6. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the poppers are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. – Serve the jalapeno poppers warm, with a side of ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a spicier kick, leave some of the jalapeño seeds in the filling. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as pepper jack or Monterey jack. These poppers can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
