Ingredients

– 16 oz cream cheese, softened

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup diced jalapeños, seeds and membranes removed for less heat

– 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

– 3 green onions, thinly sliced

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp onion powder

– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

1. – In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions.

2. – Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. – Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir to incorporate.

4. – Shape the cheese mixture into a tight football shape on a serving platter.

5. – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the cheese ball to firm up.

6. – Serve chilled with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

For a milder flavor, use fewer jalapeños or substitute with roasted red peppers. The cheese ball can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
