Description

Discover the irresistible combination of sweet and spicy in this quick and easy Hot Honey Chicken Bowl. Tender chicken thighs are coated in a finger-licking honey-infused sauce and paired with vibrant vegetables for a flavor-packed meal ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1/4 cup honey

– 2 tbsp hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 red bell pepper, sliced

– 1 cup broccoli florets

– 1 cup sliced carrots

– 2 cups cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, honey, hot sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.

2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 10-12 minutes.

3. 3. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots to the skillet. Continue cooking for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

4. 4. Serve the hot honey chicken immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

– For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sauce.

– Swap in your favorite vegetables like snap peas, zucchini, or mushrooms.

– Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
