Ingredients
– 1 loaf of day-old bread, cubed
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 celery stalks, diced
– 4 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter
– 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
– 1 tsp dried sage
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. – In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. – Add the diced onion and celery to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.
4. – Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
5. – Transfer the sautéed vegetables to a large mixing bowl.
6. – Add the cubed bread, poultry seasoning, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine.
7. – Slowly pour in the broth, stirring gently to evenly distribute the liquid.
8. – Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.
9. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

Notes
For a moist and flavorful stuffing, use day-old bread that has dried out slightly. You can also add chopped nuts, dried cranberries, or other mix-ins to customize the recipe to your liking.
