Description

Homemade Green Apple Syrup is a delicious, restaurant-quality syrup that’s quick and easy to make at home. This vibrant, tangy-sweet syrup is perfect for drizzling over pancakes, waffles, and other sweet treats.

Ingredients

– 3 medium green apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

– 1 cup white sugar

– 1 cup water

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped green apples, sugar, and water.

2. – Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples have softened and the syrup has thickened.

3. – Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool slightly.

4. – Carefully pour the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.

5. – Transfer the strained syrup to a clean jar or bottle and let it cool completely before using.

Notes

– For a thicker consistency, simmer the syrup for a few minutes longer.

– Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less sugar.

– Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
