Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of homemade breakfast hot pockets, with a flaky crust and a savory egg, cheese, and meat filling. These portable pockets are perfect for busy mornings or as a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 4 eggs, scrambled

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

– 1 tablespoon butter

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a skillet, scramble the eggs with butter, salt, and pepper until cooked through.

3. 3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into four equal rectangles.

4. 4. Place a portion of the scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon onto the center of each rectangle.

5. 5. Fold the pastry over the filling, then crimp the edges with a fork to seal.

6. 6. Transfer the hot pockets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. 7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.

8. 8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute the bacon with sautéed mushrooms or spinach. You can also experiment with different fillings, such as ham and cheese or turkey and Swiss.
