Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
– 4 cups beef or chicken broth
– 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tsp dried oregano
– 1 tsp dried basil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
1. 1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
